Peach Blackboy

A stunning peach with a dark wine coloured outer and inner. The rich, juicy, textured flesh is absolutely delicious. One of my favourites. If there are any left over after raiding the tree (which I doubt) they bottle well. Low chill requirement so is suitable for most areas in NZ. Deciduous.

Peach Maycrest

This peach has firm yellow flesh and a good juicy flavour. It has bright red skin over a yellow background. The fruit is of a medium size and ready about December. Plant in a sunny well drained position for best results. Deciduous.

An enduring favourite amongst horticulturists and home gardeners as it is such a "good doer". Firm, yellow fleshed medium to large size fruit with an excellent flavour. Bottles well. Shows high resistance to leaf curl. Freestone. Low chill requirement so is suitable for most areas in NZ. Deciduous.

Fayette is a heavy cropper that produces quality fruit of a good size. The flesh and skin are both yellow. Fayette ripens mid to late season. Plant in full sun in well drained fertile soil. Self Fertile. Deciduous.

'Glohaven' produces large sized fruit with skin that is blushed red over yellow and described as "nearly fuzz-less". The freestone flesh is yellow, nice and sweet with a mild flavour. Plant in a well drained sunny spot. Deciduous.

'Paragon' is a proven commercial and home garden variety that produces regular and reliable crops of extremely juicy Peaches that are ripe around February. The skin is deep yellow mottled with red when ripe and the yellow flesh is very sweet. Plant in a sunny well drained spot. Cling-stone.

Peach Hiawatha

An unusual Peach tree in that it has long narrow maroon leaves that are very striking. The usual pink blossom in spring followed by tasty, small, purple skinned peaches with orange flesh. Something just a bit different for the orchard or ornamental border. Deciduous.

Peach Flatto Sweet Cap GQ

White flesh. Flatto Peach. Small in size but not in flavour with crunchy, sweet white flesh that melts in your mouth. The outer skin is pale with a rose blush and not too 'furry'. 'Yum-delici-mo'. Deciduous. TM.

This Peach originates from Korea and has very large fruit with skin that is burnished red over cream. The white flesh is crisp and crunchy with a sweet flavour with just a hint of acid. Shows good disease resistance. Freestone. Ripens quite late towards March. Deciduous.

Peach Rich Lady GQ

This peach should fruit just in time for Christmas. Fruit are red on the outside, medium to large and have yellow flesh that is firm and sweet. Yum! Semi-clingstone and excellent for storage. A vigorous grower so prune annually to keep to your chosen height.

Peach Scarlet OHara

As you would expect from the name this Peach has bright red skin. The surprise is that the low acid flesh is white. Though low acid there is no compromise with flavour and this is one peach that tastes good even when firm. Usually ripe around February. Plant in a sunny well drained spot. Deciduous.
